Allow for about 120 yards dk weight yarn, I like to use a cotton or cotton blend

Row 1 Ch 31 (or multiples of 2 + 1) sl st loosely in 3rd ch from hook (hdc in next st, sl st in next st) across, turn
Row 2 Ch 2, skip first slp st, (sl st in next hdc, hdc in next st st) across, sl st in top of turning ch.
Repeat row 2 until piece measures 8" long, turn, ch 2, sc evenly around for 2 rounds, using 3 sc in each corner.
fasten off & weave in ends
