Small amounts of soft worsted weight yarn in colors of your choice
Size G hook
Sewing needle & thread
Instructions

Ch 3, 15 dc in 3rd ch from hook

Join with sl st to top of 1st dc, fasten off.

Join next color with sl st (continue by working over ends of previous round & loose end new color to hide these loose ends)

(Dc, 2 tr, dc) in next st, sl st in next st: Repeat around, forming eight petals with a sl st in betwen each one.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
- Attach daisies by holding right sides together & using needle & thread to sew two petals of each daisy together to form a chain.
Notes
Each daisy is about 3 inches across, I used 21 daisies, for a scarf about 64" long.
The scarf pictured above was made with 100% cotton saucy yarn by reynolds in colors 396, 800, 292, 130
When choosing colors for my scarf, I used the center color of each daisy for the petal color of the next one. This of course, is a personal choice, but I like way way the colors of each flower blends in with the next. This seems to make the color scheme flow more smoothly.
For example...
I started with a white daisy/yellow center, followed by
a yellow daisy/mauve center, then
Mauve daisy/blue center, then
blue daisy/white center, which connects with the first one
white, daisy/yellow center, repeating these for the length of the scarf.
I also prefer to make these flowers in sets of four in the order listed above and join them as I go.
